General

Our web pages are stored on web servers of our provider Deutsche Telekom and made available for retrieval (hosting). They are transmitted in encrypted form via Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS).

The following data is stored each time you access our pages:

  • IP address,
  • time of access,
  • which file was called up,
  • the status code of the request, i.e. whether the request was processed successfully or what errors occurred,
  • which page the visitor came from,
  • the user agent (usually the type of the visitor's web browser),
  • if applicable, errors in the programming of the page.

Deutsche Telekom uses this data to ensure the security and performance of the operation of the web platform.

The statistics provided to us as website operators by Deutsche Telekom are

  • browser statistics (browser and search engine accesses for the months of the current calendar year),
  • country statistics (country of origin of visitors to the website for the months of the current calendar year),
  • page statistics (number of hits per page of the website for the months of the current calendar year) and
  • access statistics (number of monthly and daily accesses to the website, broken down by requests, pages, files and visitors for the current and the last three months of the current calendar year)

in each case in absolute and percentage values.

These statistics do not contain any personal or referenceable data and are GDPR-compliant.
Via https://homepagecenter.telekom.de/design elements and design templates such as cascaded style sheets (CSS), Java script codes, etc. are used on our website for page layout and display. This provides us with design elements for a comfortable graphical presentation of our texts and for the integration of symbols.

The following requests, which are permanently embedded in the web construction kit we use, are listed when our web pages are called up: hartkopf-mb.de,telekom.de, cm4all.com and d5mv4w6u6ab0j.cloudfront.net/.

Some images on our websites come from the Unsplash image service. These images are temporarily stored in Telekom Hosting. This means that no data is transferred to third parties.

All data stored in connection with hosting is stored exclusively in Germany on German servers.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that are transferred to your computer from our provider's server or from a third-party server. Your browser accesses these files.

When you access our websites, our provider sets session cookies for which there is no consent requirement. A so-called session cookie is a small text file that contains a randomly generated, unique identification number and is only stored on your computer for the duration of an internet session. It is deleted again when you close the browser. A so-called session cookie is harmless from a data protection point of view. It does not allow any statistical analysis of visitors.

A cookie is also set for the statistical evaluations listed above. This data is only processed in aggregated form, not shared with third-party providers and not linked to other services. There is no evaluation or use of the data for purposes other than those mentioned above. In particular, the data will not be used for advertising or promotional purposes.

As a rule, you can prevent cookies from being set in the settings options of the most common browsers. However, you may then not be able to access all the functions of the website you are visiting.

Flag Counter

The flag counter of boardhost.com implemented on our pages provides information about the countries from which our websites have been accessed. For this purpose,

  • the IP address,
  • the URL of the website on which the flag counter is implemented, and
  • the user agent (type, version of the web browser and language, the operating system installed on the visitor's computer, and the date and time of the call)

are stored by boarhost.com

OpenStreetMap

In some places on our website, so-called links to the world map service „OpenStreetMap“ (OSM) are set for the purpose of clarifying the geographical location. On our hiking and cycling tour pages, the maps from OpenStreetMap are integrated into our web pages to clarify the course of our hiking and cycling tours.

The OpenStreetMap map service is operated as an "open data" service by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF). We have no influence on the data that OSMF collects when OSM maps are called up. Data such as IP addresses may be transmitted and log files generated and, if your computer is set accordingly, location data may be transmitted and cookies set. Such data may be processed abroad. The privacy policy of OpenStreetMap provides further explanations.

Vimeo and Dailymotion

The video services Vimeo and Dailymotion, which can be called up on our pages, set cookies which collect information such as the IP address, details of the computer used (operating system, browser, etc.), websites visited, activities on the Internet. The Vimeo privacy policy and the Dailymotion privacy policy provide more detailed information on this.

Links to third parties

On our websites we link to external sites. When you access these linked pages, your IP address and possibly other data are usually transmitted and cookies are set. We have no influence on what data is stored by third-party providers. Please refer to the data protection declarations of these third-party providers.

As a precaution, I have concluded an order processing contract with our provider Deutsche Telekom.
